MODEL OF THE MONTH August 2008 Issue 68
Lynzie Love

DSPORT: Tell us about yourself.
LL: I was born in San Jose, California, but I was raised in Korea and what seemed like 25 other places. My family moved frequently to say the least.

DSPORT: Are you an only child?
LL: Yes, I'm an only child.

DSPORT: How did you first get involved in modeling?
LL: My friend April Syrup got me into modeling. I got involved to help launch my singing career.

DSPORT: That's Mrs. Butterworth's niece, isn't it? So how long have you been modeling?
LL: I've only been modeling for eight months.

DSPORT: What is the coolest place you have been to?
LL: I'd say the Bahamas was my favorite place that I've been to so far.

DSPORT: Besides modeling what are you interested in?
LL: I love to sing. I'm also into cooking, outdoor activities…I am up for just about anything.

DSPORT: What is the most adventurous thing you have done?
LL: I would say that scuba diving is the most adventurous activity I've participated in so far.

DSPORT: Are you going to school right now? Yes, I am attending the College of San Mateo community college. I am studying psychology. But I am considering taking a cosmetology program.

DSPORT: Describe your ideal first date?
LL: It really depends on the other person. It doesn't matter to me as long as we're having fun.

DSPORT: Are you a tom boy or girly girl?
LL: Well, I am a little of both. But I guess I am little more tom boy than girly girl.

DSPORT: What is your favorite food to eat?
LL: I love all foods, but I guess my favorite would be Korean. But I eat just about anything. I'm easy to please.

DSPORT: What car do you drive right now?
LL: I drive a BMW 330i.

DSPORT: What is your favorite car?
LL: I love all cars, especially muscle cars like the Shelby Mustang GT500. I also love Ferraris, they are so sexy. If I won the lottery, I'd get a black Ferrari with pink trim.

DSPORT: I hear some people say you look like Tila "Tequila" Nguyen, Do you think you do or not?
LL: Well, I don't think we look the same, but I can see how others might. It can be a little annoying, because people have approached me thinking that I am Tila. But I admire her success. If that's any indication of my potential then I'd take it as a compliment. For better or for worse, she's probably the most-famous Asian sex symbol right now.

DSPORT: Are you big into the club scene?
LL: I am mostly a home body. I like to stay home and cuddle, spend time with my boyfriend and play Wii. I kick butt at Guitar Hero III. My favorite song is "My name is Jonas"; I play it on the expert level.

DSPORT: What type of music do you listen to?
LL: I listen to jazz and instrumentals. I love Little Wayne and the Isley Brothers.

DSPORT: What are some things that you are passionate about?
LL: I'm passionate about singing, music, cosmetology and helping people. I love to sing and I aspire to sing professionally someday.

DSPORT: Did you enjoy high school?
LL: Well, I attended five different high schools. But I did enjoy it.

DSPORT: Were you popular in high school?
LL: I wasn't my first two years. Junior and Senior years I was more involved and enjoyed some popularity.

DSPORT: How would you describe yourself?
LL: I am reliable, dorky, chill, down to earth and memorable.

DSPORT: If you could change something about yourself, what would it be?
LL: I tend to worry a little too much about everything. I guess I would take it a little more easy.

DSPORT: Do you have any crazed fans?
LL: No, I don't have any that are crazy. Some are extremely loyal, and go to every event that I am at to show their support. That is really sweet. They kind of act crazy sometimes but nothing to get worried about.

DSPORT: What's the craziest gift you've received from a fan?
LL: I've gotten pictures where they photoshop me together with them.

DSPORT: Who is your favorite designer?
LL: I love Guess clothing. It's classy and sexy all at the same time.

DSPORT: Where is your favorite place to shop?
LL: I love shopping in Melrose.

DSPORT: Are you into drifting or drag racing? Do you have a favorite driver?
LL: I like drifting. It looks like such a rush, its really sexy. I know a drifter named Lance Feliciano who is supposed to teach me how to drift.

DSPORT: Actually, Jose Felician is a blind guitar player. What else would you like our readers to know about you?
LL: If you see me in the club don't be afraid to approach me, I'm actually very friendly. I'd also like to thank my fans for their support; watch for me as I explore my singing career.
